Here's my quote from The Mate Company:
P/N Descriptiption Qty Price
C4040-1.5PAM HD68-HD68 external 5 27.25
SCSI cable, 1.5ft.,
molded
T205XT-AN 68 pin Active Negation 5 24.50
terminator, external
C3030-1.5PAM HD50-HD50 external 5 19.25
SCSI cable, 1.5ft.,
molded
T211TR HD50 FPT terminator, 5 30.50
external
Subtotal 507.50
Shipping 12.00 (approx)
Total 519.50
Again, the first two items are for news, and the next two are for AFS.
I actually asked for only three of the T211TRs (two plus one spare),
but they seem to have missed that when making the quote. I can go
back and get another quote, or we can spend the extra $61 and have
some extra HD50 terminators, which we could probably make use of
later.
Incidentally, to address an earlier issue on the news side, I phoned
The Mate Company and they said that thumbscrews were basically
standard for 68-pin connectors. The ultra 1s we have certainly use
thumbscrews.
