The first meeting of the MIT OS/2 USERS GROUP was a sucess. Ten people
turned out for it, plus, as special guests, we had two people from
IBM/Copley. I was very happy with the result. If you have any comments
or suggestions about this or future meetings, please send them to me.
The next meeting will be Thursday, November 18 at 5pm in room 4-231.
There will be presentations on "the future of OS/2 marketing" and
"multi-threaded programming". Volunteers to give other presentations
and write for the newsletter and greatly needed.
If you didn't get a copy of the premier issue of our OS/2 Newsletter,
get it from "/mit/os2/newsletter/number1.txt" (after "attach os2") or
send a self-addressed Interdepartmental Envelope to me at ROOM 38-591.
Please note that discussion on these, and any other topics should be
sent directly to me, or to the os2partners@mit.edu mailing list.
