The next meeting of the MIT OS/2 USERS GROUP is November 18 at 5:00pm.
Topics so far include "multi-threaded programing" and "the future of
Workplace OS/2". The location of our next meeting is room 2-105. This
room has an overhead color (Barco) projection system, and we can rent a
VGA converter from MIT Audio/Visual. Now all we need is an OS/2 computer.

I have received exactly zero comments from people about the last meeting
of the OS/2 Users Group. I assume that means either everyone thought it
was perfectly implemented, or that everyone was bored to tears. At any
rate, comments and suggestions for the next meeting would be greatly
appreciated.

We still need volunteers to give presentations at the next meeting.
Short non-technical, technical, or anecdotal presentations are needed
to keep our meetings going. No experience necessary.

The OS/2 Newsletter needs your articles. Email them to klund@mit.edu.

It has been suggested that we take on a development project for IAP.
Each participant would be responsible for writing/porting a small
program or part of the larger system. If you have any suggestions or
are interested in taking part in the project, please contact me.

Due to the end of the term, Institute finals, the "seasonal" holidays,
and my own travel plans, we will not meet in December. Our next meeting
will be January 20, 1994 at 5pm, in room 4-231 (subject to change).

Please note that discussion on these, and any other topics should be
sent directly to me, or to the os2partners@mit.edu mailing list.

Send you comments. Thanks in advance,

--> Kent Lundberg, MIT OS/2 Users' Group
    ( klund@mit.edu 38-591 253-1938 )
