Dual Boot is for use when both Doze and OS/2 reside on the same partition. It
functions by moving around the necessary configuration files (i.e. autoexec
and config.sys), as well as moving the kernel and system files in the
root directory (msdos.sys and io.sys for Doze, and os2kernel, os2loader, etc..
for OS/2). Thus, when you reboot to the other operating system, the files
necessary to affect the boot are now in the appropriate locations, and the
files for the other OS are stored in a subdirectory on the hard drive.

There shouldn't be any way to use Dual Boot to boot across partition as you
would like it to.

Boot Manager, or similar utilities available on the net, are the appropriate
programs for launching OSes across partition boundaries.
