That's movie bullshit. You ever try to wrestle somebody with a pistol?
Even if the assailant were to try and fight the gun, it's very
hard to knock the weapon out of a person's hand, or direct it away.
More than likely, the assailant will injure or kill himself in
the attempt.
In the real world, firearms are the ultimate equalizer.

Hell no. A gun will overwhelm any martial artist. They are
easy and quick to deploy and more deadly anything the human
body can muster in blunt trauma
