Dear President Vest,
I would like to commend you on your excellent leadership of
MIT during the time that I have been a student here.
I would also like to commend you for the courseware@mit
initiative.
I would also like to encourage you to continue to allow
SAVE the ASA recognized club to be affliated with the recycling
program here at MIT.
Mr. Sourav Mandal sent you an email requesting that you sever ties
with them, and I wanted you to know that I and several other
students think that this would be a gross error because
it is extremely important that waste is recycled at this school.
Especially in light of the EPA settlement I really think it is
in the best interest of MIT to maintain the SAVE relationship
and continue recycling.
Also, if you feel the need to limit the activities of clubs like
SAVE at MIT I would like to request that you disband the
MIT Objectivism Club. They advocate anarchy. They also
advocate the abolishment of all taxes. We all know that
MIT recieves tons of federal money, and the MIT objectivist club
directly attacks the ability of MIT to continue to have a need
blind admissions policy.
