yeah, jik. it's obvious you've only been an undergrad for a year--
by this time *next* year you should be on first-name terms with at
least one person in the {bursar,registrar}'s office, as well as
with someone in financial aid (if you get any). usually with this
comes a phone number which you can occasionally call and scream
"HELP" into :)
all those people standing in line at all those places are doing
exactly what you did (standing in line to be told you need to
queue somewhere else ...)
save your time and register next week (unless it really is time-
critical that you register now ... like if your student loans
depend on it). the weather may even be reasonable then.
