There was one Reg Day when I was on financial hold, even though I had
cleared it with my bursar representative a couple days before. No one
had told me I needed a blue slip. After going to my dept and finding
that they didn't have my registration, I *phoned* the bursar to see
what I needed to do, she said she'd have the blue slip ready for me
when I got over there. I walked in and bypassed the line - she handed
me the blue slip and I went to the registrar. Moral: See what you can
accomplish over the phone w/o running all over campus. The worst they
can do is tell you to stand in the lines anyway, and they'll probably
tell you all the lines you need to stand in.
