Evan, if I believed that anyone could be more depressive than me, your story
might have convinced me of it.  Suicide is, of course, one answer to ones
problems, but it tends to be rather permanent, which is why I've never quite
been able to give it more than passing attention.
Cheer up, we'll all be dead in a hundred years anyway.  And you're right, with
George in the White House, it probably won't even take that long...
To end this on a depressing note (since everything else has been so cheery),
I seem to have stumbled upon a proof that there can be no objective meaning
in life.  Not that I thought there could be anyway...
