Re: Passover seders...

I know the feeling of having conflict between my observance and my
parents' at holiday times, quite well. This year, my mother offered to
let me make alternate arrangements because due to circumstances
particular to this year, she will not be able to clean for Passover. It
is also true that Passover is not only time that religious conflicts
become an issue. In my case, it happens virtually every time I go home.
It just so happens that Passover is one of the major times that I, and
alot of others in my position, go home.

I have often wanted to talk to my parents about my religious
convictions, mostly with matters of kashrut, the Sabbath and holidays.
However, aside from the trouble of just bringing the topic up, my
parents know where I stand for the most part, and I know where they
stand.
