personally i think it's quite sad that people at mit don't experiment
a bit more with their writing ... instead of trying to perfect a style
(their own or copping someone elses) and thus perpetuate the image
that there are extremists only in this population. readers from "away"
would think _the art of war_ was everyone's bible. even those brought
up to `learn war no more' ... feh.
and yes, i do a little writing on the side, and have been for nearly
fifty years, and i'm not amused by the narrowness represneted by only
two nominal sub-sets of posters who somprise the majority on all
of discuss' meetings not discovered and put to work as useful tools
by many more kinds of people at the institute.
such common narrowness from so much net (sic) intelligence at the
greatest university in the world. sad. and counter-productive.
