how about the impoverished little $20K in debt among us? forget the
startup companies. i'm just talking about the non-defense companies.
i'd be perfectly happy to work for a large corporation and do stuff
like alternative energy r&d, solar electric car work, or a multitude
of other beneficial things.
it's not the sudden abilitity to live that happens after graduation.
it's the fact that eip will get me a job in mech e without any
experience. if i don't do that now i'll have a hard time getting that
experience later. and without that experience i won't be able to work
for the startup company *or* for the large corporation.
so you're right to be depressed about it, dryfoo. i am too.
