MIT's still saying that about most of the things I care about. And so
are my friends. And so are the people I live around. And banging my head
against a wall hurts too much to keep doing it, without results, while
the people I try to talk to tell me I'm taking things too seriously. And
most of the people who've commented on [4121], in various different
forums, are among those who've sat and listened patiently to me, and
understood nothing of what I was saying, and not changed at all. So I
realize there are a lot of Good People out there, but the things I care
about are the things they're still blowing off. I don't have the energy
for it, especially right now.
