I disagree. If it's going to snow, it should SNOW, without warming up
to rain before the end of the storm, and actual snowFLAKES (i.e.
larger than grains of sand) should fall, instead of this half-sleet
junk than got dumped on us. What's more, if there's going to be a
blizzard, why can't we have a BLIZZARD and get two or three feet;
What we have will all melt and turn to slush in a few days, if not
tomorrow, and even if it doesn't melt, it's no good because it will
all have turned to solid blocks of ice. It's not really pretty -
there's nothing on the trees, and soon it will all be ugly muck.
After all the hype, I expected a decent snowstorm, even this close
to the coast, but even this one lousy meaningless minor annoyance
had to find a way to end badly. On the other hand, I didn't really
care in the first place, so I'm not terribly disappointed.
If you don't hope for anything, you can't lose anything.
