While I agree that a sustained fever of 105 is dangerous, I'd be surprised at 102 causing delirium. (Maybe something caused both that and the fever?) Additionally, the advice to break any fever over 100 runs contrary to all recent medical recommendations I've heard. If anybody has current, official guidelines on this, please post them.
