some number of weeks back, i got sick, which toasted my throat. because of the dry air, it hasn't managed to repair. which means that when i try to hit the D above middle C, half the time i just crack. grumblefoo. and i'm not convinced i can really sing first bass. (and i'm pretty sure i can't hit second bass.)
