A friend of the family died last night, after a many-year battle to
extend his life. Ultimately, the treatment killed him, but he would
certainly have died years earlier without it. He was my namesake in
my family's "twin". (approximately same ages, same names, same business)
Now for the tough part: which black tie do I wear this time?
(Unlike the case of senior citizen, many years have passed since I
frequented the funerals of my contemporaries. Maybe I'm getting old. :-)
