Fortunately, I barely remember the removal of my wisdom teeth, back in
1979. I remember THAT I was miserable for days, but I don't remember
the actual misery.
I had them removed about a week before I left home to be a freshman at
college. My freshman picture has me looking slightly chipmunk-ish.
I blame the removal of wisdom for my undergraduate grades. (The face
that completes that sentence does not belong in this discuss meeting. Sigh.)
