You're right: I'm not sure they were actually mosquitos, but they were
middle-sized buzzing insects with reasonable long legs, I don't know if
sand flies or other insects which think human beings taste real good fit
that description or not.
Sunday evening my legs were sore enough that {gasp!} I was actually
contemplating visiting the Medical Center this morning. Fortunately,
they seem OK now.
Friday evening when I was playing frisbee on Killian Court, I noticed
that a smallish cloud of gnats seemed to follow me around, even when I
moved out from underneath the trees and into the sunshine. Yuck!
