When I first wrote my posting I decided to add the words "For example"
at the beginning of my example, just to make it clear that it was an
illustration of my point, but not necessarily (and not in this case) my
entire point. I suppose that was not enough then. Alright.
I didn't mean that pregnancy is the only issue that will make a girl
think twice. There's definitely the upbringing/child nurturing attitude of
the parents to factor in, the results of past relationships, the general
outlook on life of the "subject" female, etc. I could give personal examples
where each of these has helped dictate how much I "got". But pregnancy out
of wedlock (which is what I imagine the majority of us are discussing here
if we speak of pregnancy at all), has so many negative factors that the male
can more readily avoid than the female can, I would definitely imagine
that the female will show much more control than the male will in terms of
the sexual aspects of a relationship. A pregnant girl could sweat herself
silly thinking "My friends are all going to think I'm a slut," while the man
could possibly believe "My friend's are all going to think I'm a stud." I'm
sorry, but it has become clear to me that women have many reasons to curb
their sexual cravings, which would reaily give an unsuspecting male the
impression that they don't WANT it. The simple fact I've found is that they
want it, but under their terms, which I suppose is hard on us at times, but
fair in general. There's your fact and opinion soup of the day. - Julio.
