True, but for an advanced seminar that meets once a week for three hours, missing three (or four) out of 12 classes is destructive. Were I to miss the Sukkot/Simchat TOrah classes, I'd miss ALL the discussion of the Schubert string quartet; that's one of four peices we're covering this term. So I make my choice and I live with it.....
