I missed three days of school last week, and only partially managed to
finish the problem set due today before I left to go home for the
holidays.
I ended up staying up all night to finish it last night, even though I
desperately needed the sleep. Now, I'd like nothing better than to
crawl under a desk and sleep for 16 hours, but after missing three
days of school last week, I can't afford to miss classes today.
I'm badly behind in 6.002, and the lecture I missed last week is one
of the lectures I had the most trouble with last term. I've got a
problem set due Wednesday and a Lab due I-don't-know-when, and I just
don't feel like I have the energy to deal with either of them
effectively.
Perhaps getting more sleep would give me more energy, but I don't
have time to sleep. At school, I'm swamped with work, and at home, I
have to get ready for the *next* batch of holidays in another week and
a half.
I don't think God meant the holidays to be like this.
