When the gossip start's up, there are three options: 1) Start going out: Not usually the best choice. 2) Ignore it: Tends to be quite annoying. "Oh, I saw so and so with such-and- such last night, where were you?" 3) Lose a friend: My situation where the friend doesn't really want to go out with anyone nor give the impression that she is.
