I think a big part of the problem with perceptions and being "Just Friends"
with members of the opposite sex, is that almost always (note the qualifier)
there is indeed an romantic attraction dancing around the friendship. It's
part of why the friendship matters and isn't just an aquaintance. You may
not acknowledge it or act upon it, but I think its important and understanding
it helps manage the difficult situations that may arise.
