Allstate did pull out of MA, but several people suggested that the
insurance itself doesn't vary so just go for the whatever one is
convenient.
On the same subject, however: I was heading north on 3A about to turn
left (across traffic). I stopped, brakes on, signals on (eliminating
any chance that I could sneak in front of someone heading south, but
that's a different matter.) I saw a large car in m rearview mirror
stop. I looked back at the traffic and heard a cruch. Then I felt one.
The large car behind me was a Olds Delta-88 (does Exxon Valdez
come to mind? yeah, that big. :-) The larger car behind *it* was a
Cadillac Seville. The noise: the Seville hitting the Olds. The crunch:
the Olds being pushed into my (tiny little itty bitty) Geo Metro.
Now my seat won't lock into the position it was in when they
hit me, and I'll need a bunch of work done on the rear corner. At
least it still runs.
To top it off, I ended up 45 minutes late to my first day at
work...
