The written test is supposed to be about 10 questions long and not
very hard.

Question: were you previously licensed in MA?  And if so, if you still
had that license, would it be unexpired (or maybe not long expired)?
If this is true, and they find you in the database, you can get the
eqv. of a duplicate license (without it saying "duplicate") by turning
in your old out of state one, playing less than $70, and doing the
standard photo, etc. gig.  Ambar has done this, and I'll do it once I
get a form they require from NH drivers.
