Indeed, I found the same problems with the linux copy; I've installed
the 3.32 version for linux only, because I couldn't get it to properly
build any of the output formats for solaris.

I'll take a look at it again when I've got more time, to see if I can
correct the version skew, but it seems to work on both platforms for now.
