I've populated the linux3 volume and made the i386_linux3 link.

I've made symlinks to binaries in the bin directory. For symlinks in
the i386_linux2 directory, I copied them over rather than making
links. I'm not convinced this was a good idea in all cases, but in
some many it makes sense (for example, for links into share).

In the lib directory:

	The elisp and tex symlinks to share were made

	[svalente]
	mash.conf was copied over
	sm, Roget, and trn were made links into i386_linux2
	the contents of xmcd were copied into a new directory of that name

	[yoav]
	tfontedpr was made a link into i386_linux2

I didn't copy any of the libaries (shared or static) since
doing so doesn't really make sense, at least for static libraries.
The following need to be rebuilt:

-rw-r--r--   1 svalente mit        345858 Aug  9  1997 libXaw3d.a
-rw-r--r--   1 svalente mit         98968 Jun 13  1997 libdevices.a
-rw-r--r--   1 svalente mit         30798 Jun  3  1997 libfprint.a
-rw-r--r--   1 belmonte mit        984200 Feb 19 02:25 libplot.a
-rw-r--r--   1 belmonte mit           497 Feb 19 02:25 libplot.la
lrwxr-xr-x   1 belmonte mit            16 Feb 19 02:25 libplot.so -> libplot.so.0.1.6
lrwxr-xr-x   1 belmonte mit            16 Feb 19 02:25 libplot.so.0 -> libplot.so.0.1.6
-rw-r--r--   1 belmonte mit        802468 Feb 19 02:25 libplot.so.0.1.6
-rw-r--r--   1 svalente mit        192462 Jun 13  1997 libplotsub.a
-rw-r--r--   1 svalente mit         31878 Jun 13  1997 libutils.a

None of this will take effect until after the volume release.

	Erik
