Thank you for your bug report.

This is actually a problem with the "spell" program on the dialups.
I'm cc'ing this to bug-dialup, to bring it to their attention.

bug-dialup: the "spell" sh script seems to have errors.
Interaction with spell looks like this:

	0 mint-square{9}% spell
	tee: /var/adm/spellhist: Permission denied
	of fo
<hit ^D here>
	fo
	/usr/bin/spell[92]: /var/adm/spellhist: cannot create
	0 mint-square{10}% exit

I've tested on a number of machines:  x.dialup, test.dialup, athena.dialup,
as well as bart-savagewood in the SIPB office.

Current Athena suns seem to work properly (mary-kay-commandos,
bobbi-harlow, and x15-cruise-basselope all run "spell" without errors.)

Sincerely,
