Good point. xmcd claims to support Irix, but I can't get it to work.
(Apparently, neither can the maintainers of the audio or consult
lockers. I've never seen any version of xmcd actually work on an
Athena SGI.)
I've removed /mit/sipb/arch/sgi_53/xmcd. Unless somebody can make
xmcd work on Athena SGIs, I guess you'll have to stick to the
Irix-provided CD players (cdplayer, cdman).
