Hi. You wrote:

	/mit/sipb/src/newtex-glue before I install it?

No, I didn't have any comments before you installed it. I do,
however, have comments after you installed it. (Typical.)

I no longer believe that most of the executables in the newtex locker
belong in the sipb locker. (I didn't realize there was so much
stuff.) I get the impression that a lot of the programs are back-end
programs that almost never get manually run, so there's almost no
point in making them available through the sipb locker.

Besides that, Latex hasn't been in the sipb locker for a while now,
and I'm not convinced there's good reason to reappear. (It's just
going to emulate the /usr/athena/bin version anyway.)

For now, I've removed all the the newtex shell scripts from the sipb
locker except for latex2e and xdvi. If you think there's good reason
for other programs to be in the sipb locker, go ahead and add them
back, but I'd prefer if the programs are selected by a human rather
than all blindly added by a shell script.

Have a nice day,
Sal.

P.S. There was a really huge major devastating bug in install.sh.
All the shell scripts for all the platforms put
/mit/newtex/arch/sgi_53/bin in the path.
