Hi,
I've been frequently encountering a new apparent bug in pmail in the last
few weeks. It occurs after editing a reply, when re-entering pmail itself:
I get a "Fatal error in process" message, and the edits are lost.
It doesn't seem to happen every time, but alarmingly often. I'm not sure
what the crucial triggers are, but here's the typical sequence:

pmail
1 [read message 1]
R
type ~m
type ~e
edit message using vi
save and quit vi
Fatal error in process
(continue)

At this point, the messsage contains whatever it contained before the editor
was started. Also, the /tmp file the vi created has been deleted, so the
the edits are not recoverable.

Any ideas on possible work-arounds?

Thanks.
