I was originally thinking that changing end-hook might be a way to
accomplish this, but there are some other problems associated with
that. One would also have to detect how many pages have been
output. I might look into this more, but I'm not convinced it's worth
my time because people shouldn't be using the -C feature of dvips
anyway.
