um, i'm now having kind of wacky problems. when i started this copy of
pine, all the messages in my inbox disappeared in athena pine (which i was
temporarily using). in this new sipb pine all the messages appeared in my
inbox as new and unread. however none of my imap folders are visible in
this pine, whereas in athena pine i can still access all my old folders
and they still have all the messages in them. i tried quitting and
restarting both versions of pine, but they remain in the same state.
checking the previous version of sipb pine (not on a 9.4 athena machine)
and checking webmail (which is what i tend to use at work), they seem to
be in the same state as athena pine; my inbox is empty but all my other
folders are intact. if you have any idea how i can fix this and get my
inbox messages accessible in normal mail programs again i'd really
appreciate it, cos as it is this is very frustrating. ~laurel
(i also wonder what will happen to this message because my messages
normally get saved to a sent-mail folder, but since this pine doesn't seem
to think that folder exists maybe it won't...)
