Why did xdvi.new move to xdvi? This has caused no end of problems for
user who cannot find xdvi.new anymore. And even if they add sipb, they
still get the old version from the packs. So they have to be told to
type a full pathname, or hack their dotfiles, or use aliases. Why can't
xdvi.new point to xdvi until the next release?
Olatex is getting lots of questions about this. I think also that
minicourses haven't their information yet. I understand that there's
no reason to keep the old version of xdvi around, but this switching
in the middle with no extra pointers has made the best previewer
generally available much harder to get at for the average user.
