What you need at a booth:

*people to take the money
*sign in sheets
*we have "i voted UMOC" stickers
*buckets for the money for each candidate (go to your cafeterias, they usually
have stuff you can have)
*posters advertising what it is
*list of the procedure for turning in and counting money at the end of a shift
and the end of the day

Miscellaneous things you need:

*change trays that sort the money
*coin rolls
*a way to record the results of each day's votes (UMOC lasts for a week here)
*person to go to the bank to either deposit the money to then write a check to
ACS or, atleast get bill for the change
*make sure you have the permission of your local ACS as well as you university
to solicit money DOCUMENTED
*back up lists of people to help out if someone does not show up for their
shift
*thank you notes to those that helped like hall governments, etc, means they
will help next year
*some way to announce the winner, we have a "party" at a dance club, there is a
ceremony where the cracked mirror in the toilet seat award is presented, the $2
or $3 cover charge usually goes to the ACS, and then everyone as fun

I know I am forgetting things, so please email me if you have question. I
don't know if this went through to the list, so could someone please send me a
not if it goes through.

Thanks a lot, sorry this was so long, but I think that it is for a good cause!

Shoshie
