I just spoke with Rick Horne, the coordinator for the APO exhibit at
the Jamboree. He has scheduled a reception for all APO Brothers on
Saturday, August 7 at 5pm. Both scouters attending the Jamboree and
visitors are heartily encouraged to attend.
The National Scout Jamboree, held every four years, is a chance for
Boy Scouts and Explorers from around the nation and globe to meet each
other and learn new skills. The Jamboree will be held August 4-10 at
Fort A.P. Hill, outside Fredericksburg, VA (about 90 minutes drive from
Washington, DC).
The site is open to the public during the daytime; all brothers are
invited to visit the APO exhibit located in the National Exhibits
area.
The Jamboree is the highlight of many scout's careers. Come see why.
