Here at Alpha Beta Omega Chapter, we have a short version of a service
program for the summer season. Being at Old Dominion University is an
advantage because ODU is primarily a commuter school, so most of our
brothers are here all year. Therefore, we are able to get a lot done
during the summer. Mostly, our projects are outdoor projects, such as
the Beach Cleanup with the City of Va. Beach (gives us the opportunity to
harass tourists--JUST KIDDING!). We also do summer projects with the
University, and we have a lot of car washes to raise money for the Fall
Semester. In addition, we have a lot of fellowship activities. We also
mail out a summer newsletter, particularly to brothers who are away for the
