Hmmm...I just recently was talking about this with some Brothers here...

I personally find that wearing letters is what is important, and am less
concerened with the colors. I have 3 sets of letters. One is a grey sweatshirt
with APO - AGX in an American Flag pattern on red. Another is a blue pullover
jacket with the letters in a blue swirl pattern on black. The third is one I got
at National's, and is a blue an green baseball shirt with red letters.

Hopefully over the summer I'll get enough money to get a few more sets,
including a Blue and Gold combo. I think it would be nice to have them, but it
is not, for me, the only thing allowed.

My chapter seems to feel the same way, since I can only think of 3 Brothers
who actualy have the Blue/Gold combination.

What do ya'll do?

P.S. Thank you for all your responses about Pledges and Letters. The majority
o chapters that responded have a "wait till you are a Brother" approach, which
is what we do here. I personally feel that is the right way to go, and that
wearing the letters is a privalege that is *earned*. I know what National's
says about Pledges being equal, and I agree in general. However, there is a
distinct non-equal relationship between pledges and Brothers, that they are
not yet Brothers, and so are not yet equal. <- My personal opinion.
