[APO-L] LA Serve Registration Deadline Approaches

Monday, May 8th will be the last day to register for the Serve to be
held in LA June 9-11. There will be absolutely no registrations
accepted after that date. Unlike past years, because we have moved
the event to a hotel we have to give a final head count 30 days
before. You will not be able to register the week of the
event. Don't wait, register now!
May 8th is also the cancellation date. If there are not at least 15
paid registrations by that date, the Serve will be
cancelled. Currently there is one paid registration and two
unpaid. The Serve held last year in LA received an enthusiastic
response. Most of the attendees said they would recommend to the
rest of their chapter to attend. So let me appeal to those Serve
Alumni, please make that recommendation now. There is danger of this
event being cancelled due to lack of registration. I don't believe
there has ever been a summer LD event cancelled in Southern
California, at least in recent memory. Don't break that
streak. Please go to the National Website <www.apo.org> today and
click on Serve Registration which can be found both in the menus and
directly on the front page. A description of the course can also be
found there.
If you are worried about attending because you have not attended a
Launch, find 12 Brothers and a place and make a course request (also
found on the national website). If you need help rounding up 12
Brothers contact your Section Chair <section.#.chair@apo.org> and
Regional LD Chair <region#@leadership.apo.org, where # is the Arabic
number of your section or region respectively> for help. These are
also great people to ask if you have any questions about Serve or APO
LEADS. You're also welcome to respond to this message and ask me.
