On the off-chance that anyone reading this is close enough to help...
Parker House is a home for abused/neglected children in Baton Rouge. I
just heard n-hand that they just had a influx of abused/neglected children
from New Orleans and need mattresses.
Also heard n-hand... if you're in Baton Rouge, please be careful!
Muggings and crime in general are apparently on the rise due to the sudden
import of criminals from New Orleans. Be safe,
