I asked the following of the M&E Yahoo Group and while I'm waiting for a
response I thought I dive into the trenches and ask everyone here if
they have any further ideas or knowledge of the like.

Hi all,
Being new to this whole extension thing I was thinking about how to get
onto a campus where no one has expressed an interest. Or where knowledge
of APO is lacking.
Q:Is there a form letter/packet which can be mailed to Campus Officials
as an introduction to APO, our goals, organization, mission etc. ?
I picture it including a note from the NED, RD, SC, & Extension Chair, a
copy of the current T&T, national bylaws, and contact information for
those above. It should also include a request for access to campus and
the ability to reserve a room for a meeting.
Q:Have we thought about or do we have a program for promoting APO to
high school students at college nights?
What kind of information would be included? Power point exhibit, web
access for looking up a prospects college, other information...
I think to make the goal of 2 new chapters per section be 2010 the cold
call letter and HS stuff is going to be needed. I am more interested in
the Cold Call packet at the moment.
