Doesn't sound like they're going to embed music
directly in the website, which yes, is quite annoying
and generally not good web design. Although it sounds
like they're planning on developing a flash animation
for the entrance to the site, which isn't really all
that much better. I'm generally not a big fan of flash
animations when you enter the site, because I
generally go to websites to get specific information
and look it up - I could care less about seeing some
fancy animation. But as long as there's a clear link
allowing someone to click through and skip the
animation, it's not a major problem. Also, a couple of
flash animations in the rush section which might have
a slideshow and/or music could be pretty cool (these
would be optional, but could help in the
rush/recruitment process).
