For those of you who want to know if the APO-L list has discussed a topic
before and what was said, there are two archives for the list. The archive
at IUPUI has all of the posts since APO-L moved to IUPUI in July of 1997.
Its web address is https://www.listserv.iupui.edu/archives/apo-l.html

The mail system at MIT treats APO-L as a group and has archived it since
April of 1993 when it was at Purdue. http://diswww.mit.edu/charon/apo/

This does not go all the way back to the biggining of the list however. A
few earlier posts exist elsewhere on the net, where poeple have saved
them. The earliest I can find is a ASCII picture of a turkey saved at
http://www.kobra.one.pl/pix/ascii/turkey apparently posted to APO-L on Nov
23, 1992. The list itself goes back to at least June of 1991.
