I'm not sure how many people this will impact, but this amendment is
something that will be useful in enabling nontraditional students to
take up roles within a chapter with which they would feel more
comfortable. I know someone who will be going back to school when her
kids get a little bit older, having spent 4 years as an active and 9
years as an advisor. She most certainly would feel more comfortable
advising than being an active.
