Now that I've hit another break from school, I've become somewhat active in
my Boy Scout troop again. Suggestions on how to count these hours for the
Youth Service Award (external to APO, goes by another name & requires 50
hours of youth service in a year)? The issue is that since I'm not involved
regularly, I can't be in charge of trips, etc. I come to meetings but it's
not continuously helping or necessarily doing so at a given meeting. Could
I count a troop committee meeting? I went to a car wash for an Eagle
project fundraiser recently for 3 hours but there was much time that I was
excess.
How do I count helping at camp for a week as I did last year & will this one
if I can't get a job by July? I think that may qualify me for 50 hours
unless only my own instruction time is counted.
Thanks in LFS,
Michael Gallagher
