Taking Matt Cross's cue, membership...
Anybody have a list of schools with national service groups besides APO &
which ones are where? I started with GSS but it's getting tedious. This is
an issue that affects almost all of us, & we certainly feel it here at the
University of Delaware. GSS has its biggest chapter (although it is still
female here & went Greek), Circle K, Alpha Lambda Delta, National Society of
Collegiate Scholars. These are the biggest, I think. We also have
newly-minted Campus Girl scouts, Habitat, University Mentors, & other honor
societies like Golden Key. There is an effort to start a service council on
campus. I thought of the idea last year (probably not the first person to
come up with it) to try to help each other out & ensure mutual existance.
This year, NSCS & ALD started it to coordinate projects & avoid conflicts &,
on my inquiry, joint projects.
Any successful peaceful coexistance stories?
