Jeremy,

Four words: Get them to conferences.

Every chapter has people that don't really understand why we are a
part of a brotherhood or why that means much of anything at all. I have
seen many of these people get very excited about APO as a larger
organization simply by getting them to conferences and letting them see that
they truly are a part of something larger. Since it is the fraternal
aspects that bind us all together, despite sometimes large differences in
chapter cultures and policies, they will get to see first hand why these
things are important. Sometimes it takes going to more than one conference,
but conferences are definitely the way to go here (there are other things,
as well, that I am sure others will comment on, but this is my two cents).
