The only thing I want to respond to is:

If there's policy to be made or clarified by the active brothers, a good way
to do this might be for those who understand the relevant rules (when you
schedules allow, of course) to explain the issue to {rulescomm and
interested printshop people} or {exec and interested printshop people}. As
evidenced by having an active (well, it was active last spring) rulescomm
and upcoming bylaws amendments, I think there is interest among actives in
maintaining correct policy. Any standing policy will of course then have to
run by exec, who will explain it to the chapter as a whole before a vote is
taken.
