Attention Brothers!
Membership-related stuff is going to start happening as soon as frosh get on
campus. That means I'm going to need brothers to help show prospectives how
awesome APO is! Mark your calendars with these events. I would also like
someone to PC our activities for the W20 party (I would, but I might be
dead.. you know, REX chair and all)
ASA Midway
The Midway is happening Friday, September 1st from 4pm-7pm. We're going to
need people to set up our booth by bringing stuff from the office to
Johnson, people to staff the booth from 4-7pm, and to bring stuff back to
the office afterwards. mitchb is the manpower PC for this event, so he'll be
hassling you to volunteer for some hours.
W20 Party
Immediately following the Midway there's a pre-cruise party/dinner going on
in the student center from 7-9ish. I think we should plan to do something
cool in the office during the party, like silkscreening, hanging out, and
playing Apples to Apples. We can advertise at the Midway, and interested
frosh can come to the office afterwards to learn more about APO. Of course,
we'll need people to be around and hanging out/silkscreening/etc. The PC
should probably be someone silkscreen-savvy. Volunteer today, while supplies
last!!!
Open Meetings
We will be holding open meetings on Thursday, September 7th at 7pm, Sunday,
September 10th at 2pm, and Monday, September 11th, at 6pm. Greg, our
all-powerful AC is working on getting a location reserved!
